| Get a little notebook, and log your miles/gallons. Don't guess. Track it right. Miles per tank is worthless, find miles per gallon. Get a compression check done. And a leakdown test. Check your alignment. And since you've been having tire eating issues since as far back as I can remember, I'd take your car to a place with a chassis rack, and have the chassis check for square. Have them check it twice. My realtor had a 90 Auto 2+2, an early one with issues. He'd get 30 mpg on the highway, and that was with over 250k miles on it.
